St. Corona is one of the patrons of pandemics. Her remains are in Anzu, a town in northern Italy. According to a fourth century-deacon in Antioch, St. Corona comforted St. Victor, a Roman soldier who was being tortured for being a Christian. She too after publicly confessing her faith, was martyred by tying her to two palm trees that had been bent to the ground. When the tree snap back to full height her body torn apart.
